Colorado Kannada Koota, Colorado, started in 1970, is a non-profit organization catering to the needs of Kannadigas (persons from Karnataka State in India or those whose ancestors are from Karnataka state) of Colorado.

Colorado Kannada Koota, Colorado, started in 1970, is a non-profit organization catering to the needs of Kannadigas (persons from Karnataka State in India or those whose ancestors are from Karnataka state) of Colorado. 

During the past 50+ years, Colorado Kannada Koota has organized numerous cultural activities and has actively participated in various community events. It has been instrumental in the promotion of the language, culture, arts and literature of Karnataka.

The purpose of the organization is to organize events, promote cultural activities for adults as well as youth born and growing in USA, and support various humanitarian causes. 

Colorado Kannada Koota organizes three major cultural festivals (Yugadi, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Deepawali-Rajyothsava) in addition to yearly Picnics, Rocky Mounta

  

The purpose of the organization is to organize events, promote cultural activities for adults as well as youth born and growing in USA, and support various humanitarian causes. 

Colorado Kannada Koota organizes three major cultural festivals (Yugadi, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Deepawali-Rajyothsava) in addition to yearly Picnics, Rocky Mountain Hikes and Camping, and Miscellaneous charitable trust Fund raising events.

Colorado Kannada Koota's long history is entirely attributed to the dedicated people who have voluntarily taken responsibilities to sustain and grow the objectives of Kannada Koota. 

The involvement of every Kannadiga of Colorado in Koota's mainstream activities with CKK as Non-Profit Organization (NPO) would only enhance and enrich Kannada's culture and community's strength.
